Things are Looking Up

My new print is going to be so good, especially because the official printing will be finished by real printmakers that are much more capable! I want to post pictures, but it's not finished yet, so I'll just post a nice picture of myself talking on and on and on about it.

Dreams Coming True Fast in Oregon

I just spent two weeks in Oregon teaching art with three of my personal heroes. We worked with about 22 young people to help them create a series of shadow plays accompanied by Foley sound effects.  I was so busy I only took five photos.

Where we started...

the view from our classroom...

The bare-bones of our "indoor campfire"... brilliant!

The "fire" and showcase screen in action:

and here is where we ended...

PACKing the Archives

I always find good archive items when I pack up my studio:
Above is an invitation to my senior show in college. The checklist at the top shows the printed items found inside the envelope that you will need in "the World". Please note that water was represented by a teardrop (not pictured) and that love is double checked...

Life Changing Week!

Enjoyed another life changing week with Whoop Dee Doo creating this huge microwave (in only four days) for San Antonio's Luminaria Festival.
